This 1 Liter beer stein is the Official Oktoberfest stoneware stein which will be used during Munich’s 2017 Oktoberfest, held 9/16/2017 – 10/03/2017!

The Oktoberfest collectors’ stein remains true to the simple shape which has remained unchanged for over a century.  A finished stein has gone through many hands and production steps.  The high-quality finishing, evinced by many fine details, makes the official Oktoberfest stein a valuable example of a traditional handcraft.  The stein is produced by the firm of Rastal, based in Höhr-Grenzhausen, which still today fulfills orders for stoneware and pewter articles in the tradition of the masterly craftsmanship of the “Kannenbäckerland”.

Each Official beer stein has a copy of the artist’s signature on the bottom and a relief decorated domed pewter lid. Comes with a certificate of authenticity and gift box.
