This 1-liter mug is the Official Oktoberfest stoneware beer mug that is created yearly for the Munich Oktoberfest. Sadly, the Oktoberfest festival grounds in Munich were quiet during 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Oktoberfest 2020 would have been held from 9/19/2020 – 10/04/2020, however can still be remembered at home with your own official mug or stein.

The Oktoberfest collector’s mug remains true to the simple shape which has been unchanged for over a century.  The high-quality finish, evinced by many fine details, makes the official Oktoberfest mug a valuable example of a traditional handcraft. The mug is produced by the firm of Rastal, based in Höhr-Grenzhausen, which still today fulfills orders for stoneware and pewter articles in the traditional craftsmanship of the “Kannenbäckerland”.

The 2020 Oktoberfest at Home Official Stein will be the rarest piece in any official Oktoberfest collection as only 25% of the normal quantity were produced. 

We were recently able to source a very limited quantity of new stock from Germany and the price of these much sought after mugs & steins reflects the great expense incurred to acquire these items.

Each Official beer mug has a copy of the artist’s signature on the bottom and comes gift boxed.
